Church Birthing Matrix
Imagine a harvest of souls in an area that
affects all of us and is ongoing and
sustainable… with some planting,
others watering and with God
causing increase.

In order to do this we would need to envision what would happen if
churches, pastors, church planters and other Christian workers  in a local
region networked together for church planting… for the evangelizing of a
region and for the common good.

Most of us would say that this is impossible because of denominations and
doctrines.  So let's forget the others for now and ask what would happen if
churches with like precious faith could network together like this in a region.
What would happen for the cause of Christ? Would this not be spectacular?

Right now we are developing networks like this around the cause of church
planting.  It is our experience that when church plants begin engaging the
culture, existing churches become revitalized to do something similar.  The
result of such a network is a lot of powerful intersession, souls being saved,
churches growing, training and mentoring becoming intentional, and
churches being planted.

The steps that take a region of churches in this kind of direction begin with
a group of pastors and church planters praying weekly or even monthly for
God to sovereignly move in their region in church planting and evangelism.
This sounds too easy.  We naturally feel that organization and planning with
much money are essential for the formation of any network, and that is true,
but it must happen when the movement of God as the result of prayer
demands it, not before.

As time goes on, an organization will be formed around, not replacing, the
regular intersession time of these Christian workers.  A full time network
coordinator, who is on missionary support,  will be sought by the
intercessors.  A course of training modules that not only train potential
church planters, but that also trains workers from the network churches is
developed by the coordinator using local Christian workers for the trainers.
Strategy, cooperative ventures, outreach, mentoring and training become
then an outgrowth of faithful intersession, becoming the catalyst for even
more prayer.

This is a magnificent tried and proven reason for pastors in a region to
come together to pray.
